Lung-Yi Huang Graduated from the Art Institute of FoGuang University and Department of Music (Chines Classic Music Division) of Chinese Culture University, currently the CEO and Artistic Director of Taipei Harmony Ensemble. Teaching at the Chinese Music Department of Chinese Culture University; Opera Department of National Taiwan College of Performing Arts; and Chinese Classic Music Divison of HuaGang Art School. Mr. Huang has won the first place of Sheng solo in National Music Competitions in Taiwan for two times. As the winner of Young NTCH music award in 1998; he was invited to play at the National Auditorium. He was also invited to have a Sheng recital in Vienna in 2003. In 2009, CCA recommend him organize six Sheng recital for Taiwanese Delegation at “San Antonio - Accordion Festival” in Texas, USA. Not only specializing in the interpretation of traditional music but also having long exposure in modern music. Invited to play in many countries in Europe, Asia, America. To participate including: the Contemporary music festival in Grenoble in France; the Hudders field Contemporary Music Festival in UK; the March Festival in Berlin; and the Viktring Modern Music Festival in Vienna. In recent years, He founded the ensemble for Sheng; engaged professional performance and research for Sheng; and as the premieres of contemporary works for domestic and foreign composers.  Sheng, this ancient musical instrument, by his excellent performances showing a charming style ........
